Debt Limit & Terrorists Polemic

August 4, 2011

I’m not defending the actions of the tea party but the reaction from the media over the last few days has been a bit… comical. Especially true since we haven’t even balanced the budget yet.

  • Steven Ratner of MSNBC @ July 29th “form of economic terrorism… strapped with dynamite”
  • Margaret Clarlson of Bloomberg @ July 31 “strapped explosives to the capital
  • Chris Mathews – MSNBC “wahabis of American government”
  • Tina Brown – Editor Chief Newsweek “suicide bombers”
  • Thomas Friedman New York Times “Hezbolah”
  • Peter Goodman of Huffington Post “Terrorist”
  • William Yeomans of Politco & a law professor “Full blown terrorist”
  • Fareed Zakaria Editor of Newsweek “blow up the country”
  • Paul Krugman they want to blow up the economy
  • David Brooks of New York Times (their “conservative”) says: “no sense of moral decency”
  • Vice President Joe Biden “Acting Like terrorists”
  • Van Jones on the Tea Party: They had a “Gun to the head of 365 million americans… we blow your dreams away”
  • Michael Eric Dyson “gun of presidents head”
  • Joe Nocera NYTs “waged Jihad”
  • Mike Doyle (D-Pa.) who said Democrats ‘have negotiated with terrorists,’ Politico.com reported. ‘This small group of terrorists have made it impossible to spend any money,’

So much for the Presidents call to tone it down after Arizona Massacre….
